This is a brief and picturesque walk in the quaint village of Cosgrove. Panels are along the route informing you about the local history and wildlife.

Getting there

Parking: Walkers are asked to park their cars with consideration. There are a number of cycle locks at the Navigation Inn.

Public transport: Buses run regularly from Northampton and Milton Keynes into Cosgrove. Call the Traveline on 0870 6082608.

 

Waypoints

1. Navigation Inn to The Ornamental Bridge

The route begins at the Navigation Inn in Cosgrove. You will need to walk south along the road until you reach a bridleway, which heads south-east. Walk along the bridleway and when you reach the village, turn east onto Bridge Road and cross over The Ornamental Bridge.

2. The Ornamental Bridge to Navigation Inn

Continue to follow the road and then turn left to head north on a footpath alongside the canal. This will lead you to a road a short distance from the Navigation Inn where you began.
