Walking in Cheshire

Cheshire is full of interesting villages, thriving towns and wonderful scenery and what better way to discover it than on foot?
More than 3,000km of footpaths thread through the county, so you can explore at your own pace on short strolls, long walks or circular routes. The Cheshire Ring Canal Walk runs for 97 miles, linking six historic canals including the Macclesfield, Peak Forest and Trent & Mersey. But fear not, you don’t have to do it all in one go!
