Blithfield Reservoir

Opened in 1953, Blithfield Reservoir is 790 acres of surface water, and is surrounded by a large woodland which is home to a variety of wildlife, particularly birds.

Owned by South Staffordshire Water PLC, the reservoir is divided by a causeway – separating the nature reserve from the watersports side, where sailing is popular at the Blithfield Sailing Club.
