Blackton Reservoir
Blackton Reservoir was built in 1896 at an altitude of 270 metres. It's the shallowest of the Teesdale reservoirs.
Blackton lies between Balderhead and Hury reservoirs and offers great fishing and sights for nature lovers that make it well worth a visit. The western end of the 26.7 hectare reservoir is important for wildfowl.
